Last month as it was hitting my birthday time, everyone was asking me what I would like. I hate saying to people what I want as I always find it to be too expensive and would rather them think of something to save me feeling guilty for asking for something. As my mum kept moidering me asking what I would like, I thought that I'd always wanted to try out a pair of riding leggings to see if the hype is worth it or just to try out running leggings. 
I then did a bit of Google searching for some riding leggings that aren't full seat. I never thought it was going to be as hard as it was to find leggings that only had grippy knees and not a full seat. 
I then came across these Hardy Etc riding leggings and bought them to try them out.

They are made from super stretchy fabric that allows complete freedom in the saddle with a silicone knee added for extra grip in the saddle.
These leggings also come with the feature of a side pocket on the thigh, great for your phone. The first time I wore these leggings was just around the house to see how comfortable they were, I kept my phone in the side pocket and it was so fitting there I went into my jacket pockets a couple of times and thought my phone was missing. 








The phone side pocket is such a great feature as it makes your phone easily accessible while your around the house, doing yard work and riding. It's in a great position so your phone doesn't dig into you when you're riding either. There is plenty of length and width to fit a variance of different phones in there. The phone I have is the Sony xperia XA1 and there is plenty of space in there.  








These leggings are super comfortable to ride in, they are great on ther waist so they're not digging in like I find some of my breeches do. They let you feel free and ride with the movement without feeling restricted. 

There was only one downside to these leggings and it's the area on the leg to where the silicone has been added. As when I had my boots on only the top two strips of silicone were on show. Although these leggings are super comfortable and they help offer some great sticky on my seat saver with the material on the gel seat. I would wear these leggings even if they came without the gel stickys.

Bridleway Equestrian A/W 17/18 Wishlist

I received the new Bridleway Equestrian Autumn/ Winter 17/18 catalogue with my latest BHS magazine and there's so much stuff that I'd love to have in it, I just had to share it with you all.

First up is 3 sets that I'd love to add to Legacy's matchy matchy collection. 

The Signature Fly Veil - £6.95 in Purple, Emerald and Black

The Signature Saddlecloth - £21.95 in Purple, Emerald and Black

The Falkirk Leggings - £39.50, These are fleece lined so are great for winter riding along with silicone grips on the knee.

The Cheviot Riding Leggings - £49.95, These also offer the silicone knee for grip and also have a handy pocket on the leg to hold your phone. 

The Kendal Pom Pom Hat - £12.50, Who doesn't love a nice wooly hat for the colder months with a pom pom on top.

The Hickstead Everyday Gloves - £15.95, I'm in need of some new riding gloves as the ones I have are holey are the tip of the finger and these look great. If they would fit my tiny fingers would be something else though. 

Apple Socks - £5.50, Who doesn't love a vibrant riding sock?

My hat and boots are currently kept in the boot of my car so these would be great to have to store them in. Even give them a bit of protection in the boot of my car. 

Riding Legging & Tights Wishlist

We've all seen the latest riding clothing hype of riding leggings and tights and I've also seen many others say they're just expensive gym or running leggings which I guess they essentially are. So far I've not splashed out and bought a pair and have only tried the running leggings on sale in Tesco, but I've decided to do a post on some I'd like to try out.

First up is the latest edition of the very first pair I ever seen available. These are the Black Technical Stretch Leggings from Aztec Diamond. They are available in the sizes xs - xl and retail at £35.00. These look super comfortable and I've always wanted to try these out since I first seen them.

Next up is the Horze womens knee patch active tights by Horze. These are available in Navy, Light brown and black. These retail at £26.99. I'm actually really interested in these are they are the first pair of leggings or tights that I've seen that only have the knee patches, all the others I've seen have a full seat. Think I might have to try these out next payday, as it's great with Horze having free postage too. 

The next ones are the Dublin Performance Cool It Riding Tights by Dublin. These come in a variety of colours and the Cool it tights are the summer edition of these tights, they also have a winter edition which are the Warm it tights. The Cool it tights retail at £39.49. the main attraction for these tights are that they are full seat but will gel rather than the usual suede feel. The gel still allows you the freedom that you will get with the tights. The only thing with these that I'm hesitant about is the gel, which is great but when you also have a gel seat saver I don't know if it's going to be too much gel. 

Last up are the Pro Riding Tights With Pocket by Derby House. I've never tried any of Derby House's own brand clothing before and I've read and heard mixed reviews on them. But these riding tights are something I'd like to try possibly when/if they come on sale/promotion in the future to see how they are. They retail at £39.99
